Terms of Service

1. Platform role only

PetTemps is a software platform and communication registry. PetTemps does not provide pet sitting, boarding, veterinary services, transportation, insurance, or emergency animal services unless explicitly stated in a separate signed agreement.

2. Independent users and responsibility

Hosts and pet owners are independent users and solely responsible for their own conduct, communications, decisions, agreements, property access, safety practices, care standards, legal compliance, taxes, and payment arrangements.

3. No endorsement or guarantee

PetTemps does not warrant, guarantee, verify, or endorse any user, listing, statement, review, image, schedule, availability claim, care standard, or offline arrangement. Users must independently evaluate suitability and risk.

4. Assumption of risk

Users acknowledge inherent risks in animal care, including injury, illness, escape, stress, property damage, and fatal outcomes. Users voluntarily assume all risk connected to use of the platform and any arrangement arising from it.

5. Release and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetTemps and its owners, officers, affiliates, sponsors, vendors, contractors, and personnel are not liable for claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from user conduct, third-party conduct, disputes, failed arrangements, animal harm, personal injury, property damage, service interruptions, data issues, or legal violations by users.

6. Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PetTemps and related parties from any claim, demand, action, liability, judgment, fine, penalty, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from user content, user actions, breach of these terms, violation of law, or disputes involving pets, people, or property.

7. Service availability and warranty disclaimer

PetTemps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No representation is made regarding uptime, security, fitness for a particular purpose, error-free operation, non-infringement, or uninterrupted access.

8. Account enforcement rights

PetTemps may remove content, restrict features, block messaging, lock accounts, terminate accounts, preserve records, and cooperate with lawful requests where needed for platform integrity, legal compliance, privacy protection, or user safety.

9. Governing law and venue

Except where prohibited by applicable law, these terms are governed by California law and applicable United States law. Venue for non-arbitrated disputes is in California. If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain effective.

10. Updates

PetTemps may update these legal terms from time to time. Continued use requires acceptance of the current version.
